Over 9 years of experience as a Lean / Agile management consultant. While most consultants focus solely on the IT industry, my passions and interest take me beyond, to government, non-profit, education, science and faith communities. I’m interested in transforming the world of work, in amplifying the efforts of change makers everywhere.
Before consulting, I spent 5 years experience as a developer, QA manager, then project manager. I’ve also worked for small and medium-sized businesses, including a non-profit overseas.
Coaching / Training / Teaching
I’ve discovered there is a science to delivering training effectively. I’ve been trained in the modern Training from the Back of the Room 4C instructing model to provide creative, engaging learning that works. Sharon is transforming the world of Agile training with her revolutionary approach.
Games bring out creativity, provide a safe place for people to engage, unleashing new discoveries. I have an Innovation Games® Collaboration Architect certification to both generate insights and prioritize among competing choices.
I also have professional coaching training through the Coaches Training Institute, one of the premier professional coaching organizations.
Bringing people together to unleash their potential is what drives me. I’ve been involved in numerous community building experiments, starting several of them myself, including ChangeCamp Sault, Soo Podcamp, Ignite Sault and most recently Gangplank Sault, my most ambitious initiative yet.
